Lamb Camp 2010
Deb and her friend/fellow educator, Deborah Walton, held a daylong Lamb Camp on April 10 at Canvas Ranch, just
west of Petaluma.
27 “campers” learned the ins-and-outs (no pun intended) of caring for the ewes and lambs-- before, during, and after lambs are born.
More than 20 ewes and 40 spring lambs were also willing participants.
The Next sheep “camp” date will be announced this Fall. It will be a two-day Sheep School, targeted to Vineyard and Orchard owners, and will probably be scheduled for early November.
